j JOCKEY HABER SUSPENDED i AT WASHINGTON PARK i... .................. ......... A HOMEWOOD, 111., May 28. Jockey Robert Haber was today suspendedfor the remainder of the Washington Park meeting by the board of stewards after a hearing had convinced them that he was guilty of having held the saddle cloth of the three-year-old Albert D. in the seventh race on Monday, May 27. The stewards recommended that the suspension be extended through the Arlington meeting. This action is at the discretion of the Illinois Racing Commission. The statement from the Washington Park stewards read: "Jockey R. Haber is suspended for the remainder of the Washington Park meeting for holding the saddle cloth of Albert D. in the seventh race on May 27. The stewards of the meeting will recommend that the Illinois Racing Commission extend the suspension until August 4, the close of the Arlington Park meeting." Haber was riding Antoine Pelleteris Hag-gerson when the offense occurred.
