r 1 DATES FOR MARYLANDS j FALL RACING v-.----.-----.. - - BALTIMORE, Md., May 28. The regular fall racing season will be run in Maryland this year. Despite lack of legislative relief the major courses have listed virtually the same dates as have obtained for many years. Havre de Grace opens the regular one-mile track season with a thirteen-dajr meeting from September 14 to September 28. Laurels only meeting of the year will begin October 2 and close October 30, a total of twenty-five racing days. Pimlico, opening October 31, will close November 14, embracing thirteen days. As usual, Bowie will close the season with fourteen days of racing, from November 15 to November 30. The smaller courses again will precede the larger tracks. Cumberland, for the first time, will run two meetings of five days each. The first of these start August 13 and ends August 17, while the second starts August 20 and ends August 24. Marlboro opens its gates August 7 and closes four days later. The Timonium course opens Labor Day, September 2, remains idle on September 3, and runs the rest of the week for a total of five days.
