PLUCKY JACK was outrun early, but came strongly in the stretch and finished fast. CENTER LANE was close up in the early stages, but tired under his weight. SEA EAGLE, taken back when full of run in the back stretch, moved up on his own courage on the outside approaching the stretch turn, but dropped behind horses in the stretch after racing wide on the turn and, although finishing well, could not get up. LADY BOWMAN was close to the leaders in the early stages and, coming outside to make her run around the stretch turn, wore down the early leaders in the run home to win under hard urging. UPPERMOST, after acting badly at the post and being started from outside the gate, displayed good early speed and, racing strongly to the end, was forcing the winner to do her best. CLOUD DOR broke quickly and showed fine early speed, but tired in the last sixteenth. CLEAN OUT was in close quarters after entering the stretch and showed a good effort.
