This is the big three-year-old fixture of the New York racing season and annually attracts the best of that age. The other dates for the stake races to be run at Belmont Park follow: Monday, May 11 The Toboggan Handicap, three-year-olds and over, six furlongs. Saturday, May 16 The Fashion, two-year-old fillies, four and one-half furlongs. The Metropolitan Handicap, three-year-olds and over, one mile. Tuesday, May 19 The Swift, three-year-olds, seven furlongs. Saturday. May 23 The Charles L. Apple-ton Memorial Cup Steeplechase, two miles. The Withers, three-year-olds, one mile. Wednesday, May 27 The Acorn, three-year-old fillies, one mile. Saturday. May 30 Decoration Day The Juvenile, two-year-olds, five furlongs. The Suburban Handicap, three-year-olds and over, one mile and a quarter. Wednesday, June 3 The Coaching Club American Oaks, three-year-old fillies, mile and three-eighths. Saturday, June 6 The Meadowbrook Steeplechase Handicap, two and a half miles. The National Stallion Stakes, two-year-olds, five furlongs. The Belmont, three-year-olds, one mile and a half.
