JESTING LADY was rushed into contention, showed early speed, but was bearing out near the end. TWOSOME broke in motion but was quickly outrun, saved much ground entering the stretch and held on well. SAGE GIRL forced the early pace, shook off FLOPSIE in the stretch and outlasted SPEED in the final drive. The latter, well up and under steady restraint, came to the outside in the stretch and-was wearing the winner down. FLOPSIE showed early speed, but quit. BEAVER LAKE showed a good effort. ALL SCARLET was blocked nearing the far turn. KAWAGOE broke slowly.
