REGALITY, showing fine speed from the start and under light restraint until reaching the final quarter, gradually shook off HILL GIRL, then continued with determination to hold LUCKY COLOR safe. The latter, forced back slishtly approaching the turn and on the inside throughout, closed resolutely, though his rider had a foot out of the irons. HILL GIRL had speed and held on creditably, though not good enough. WOWO tired after a half mile. DARK PRINCE lost much ground, but finished strongly. MARY VITO lacked speed. JOSH, much the best and overcoming early interference, came to the outside entering the stretch and, closing with a rush, overtook CHENAULT in the last fifty yards, then drew out, but had little left. CHENAULT, a strong factor from the start, worked his way to the front under strong riding in the final eighth and held on well, but failed to withstand the winners rush. CALCULATOR forced the early pace under light restraint, took command quickly in the stretch, but tired badly. GEORGIA MEADEN, badly outrun for a half mile, made up ground fast thereafter. CHINA TEA lost much eround. ADA W. failed to keep up. LAKE VIEW tired. CHIMNEY TOP, goine in his best form, made the early pace under snug restraint, began to increase his advantaee after 1 caching the last five sixteenths, but was vigorously shaken up in the final eichth and had little in reserve. AMAZING raced wide throughout and came with a rush in the stretch. FELWYN, well rated, failed to threaten the winner when placed to strong urging, but held on well despite light interference trom AMAZING in the last seventy yards. REPAID, placed outside th? eate at the start and away fast, was taken back and rated off the pace and also suffered interference when holding on well in the diive. HIGH DIVER had n i mi-haps. ROCK X. forced the early pace under restraint, was forced to pressure when taking the lead and failed to withstand the winner. SILK MASK, on the inside after the first quarter, displayed good speed and held on gamely to the last sixteenth. GRAND ROCK raced well. TWO BOB, much the best and forced to overcome mild early interference, was kept on the inside until reaching the final quarter, where, responding strongly to only light urging, she took command quickly, then drew out to win with something in reserve. THREADNEEDLE began to better her position after reaching the last three eighths, was forced to the outside for racing room in the stretch and, closing resolutely, outstayed SEVENTH HEAVEN. The latter, badly outrun for three-quarters, came with a rush in the final quarter, but hung near the end. SPARTA, a strong factor from the start and in hand for three quarters, tired after getting to the front in the stretch. DORA MAY tired in the drive. BRENDARD, blocked soon after the start, closed fast on the outside. SPUR FLOWER quit. MARICA quit. MARY TERRY raced wide after the first quarter and failed to respond to pressure. Won handily ; second and third driving. 1 SONGMAKER, taken back and rated under stout restraint for five-eighths, responded eagerly when called upon and, after racing around the leaders in the stretch, drew out under mild urging. PRINCE FELLOW, well handled and also in hand for about five-eighths, worked his way to the front under hand riding, but failed to hold the winner. HOLL IMAGE, taken back repeatedly, lost much ground on the lower turn and closed strongly in a fine effort. SILAS was in the middle of the track the final half mile and finished fastest. WISE DUKE had speed from the start, bore out on the turns and tired in the stretch. ERIN TORCH lost much ground early and tired after getting to the front on the stretch turn. The latter, far back lor three quarters, came with a rush on the outside thereafter. CATINO took an easy lead approaching the far turn, but tired when the final test came. FOOLHARDY also tired. LISTENING had no excuses. GOLDEN BEAM failed to keep up. FIRST TRY quit. STINGER raced wide and was never a strong factor.
