Naval Treaty Approved, Daily Racing Form, 1936-05-18

NAVAL TREATY APPROVED WASHINGTON, D. C, May 16.— The foreign relations committee of the Senate Friday voted to report the London naval treaty favorably to other members of that house. The treaty provides limitations on the size of vessels but not on the number of ships that may be built. It also calls for an exchange of information among the signatories of information on projected building plans.
