DROP FORT WORTH SPRING HANDICAP AT ARLINGTON ARLINGTON, Texas, April 27. Trav Daniel, general manager of Arlington Downs, announced this morning that the ,000 added Fort Worth Spring Handicap, which was carded for closing day, Saturday, has been dropped. Daniel stated that the stake failed to fill and that as the feature ah overnight handicap, nominations for which close Thursday, and carrying a ,000 purse will be offered. It will be named the Au Revoir and will be run over a mile and a furlong, the same distance as arranged for the Fort Worth Spring Handicap. The race is open to three-year-olds and upward. Witl the discarding of the Fort Worth, It was the third stakes of the spring meeting to go by the wayside. The Blue Bonnet and the Dallas Spring Handicaps, also were abandoned when they failed to receive enough : nominations.
