field horse choice for i two thousand guineas .4 NEWMARKET, England, April 27. Marshall Fields Foray will probably go to the post a hot favorite for the Two Thousand Guineas at Newmarket tomorrow. The speedy son of Tetratema was backed at 3 to 1 in the final call over at the Victoria Club Monday night. Fair Ford, a galloping winner of the Green-ham Plate, is second choice, at 75 to 20, but this price may be cut still further before post time. W. Murrays colt is favorite for the Derby. Monday nights line on the other likely starters has Lord Derbys Fair Copy at 11 to 2, the Aga Khans Legrand Due at 17 to 2, Marcel Boussacs Goya II. at 10 to 1, and Mr. McAlpines Diplomat at 100 to 7. Possible outsiders in the field are The Hour, Sun Bather, Mid-Day Sun, Sultan Mahomed and the French colt Le Ksar. Fair Copy and Foray are expected to make a good showing in the Two Thousand Guineas, for which they have been especially prepared. Lord Derbys colt is not engaged in the Derby, and Foray is not expected to get the severe mile and one-half at Epsom. Marshall Fields colt is now at 15 to 1 for the Derby, while Fair Ford is 7 to 1. Also backed for the Derby are Legrand Due, 10 to 1; William Woodwards Parifox, 100 to 8; Goya II. and The Hour, 100 to 7, and Gainsborough Lass, 100 to 6. The nineteen probable starters for the Two Thousand Guineas are: Potboiler, Goya II., Fair Copy, Phakos, Foray, Legrand Due, Sultan Mahomed, Senior, Diplomat, Scarlet Plume, Mid-Day Sun, Fair Ford, Riveresco, The Hour, Le Ksar, Sun Bather, April the Third, Prince Arthur and Sandsprite.
