WAR ADMIRAL EN ROUTE TO CHURCHILL DOWNS HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., April 27. War Admiral, sterling son of Man o War and Brush Up, which will carry the silks of Samuel D. Riddles Glen Riddle Farm stable in the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs on May 8, was loaded at Havre de Grace early this morning and transferred to Louisville by trainer George Conway. Accompanying War Admiral was Army and Navy, which will serve as trial horse in future workouts, and a pony. Jockey Charles Kurtsinger, who has been engaged to ride War Admiral, will leave several days before the running of the Derby to assist in the final conditioning of the colt.
