WRIGHT TO PILOT HEELFLY Crack Jockey to Have Mount on Waggoner Hope in Kentucky-Derby on May 8. LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 27. Wayne D. Wright, who barely missed riding the winner of the Kentucky Derby last year when his mount. Brevity, was beaten a head by Bold Venture, will have another chance this year now that the Three Ds Stock Farms Heel-fly is definitely up to the race, which will be run here on May 8. Wright was engaged last fall to handle the Texas-owned three-year-old in the Derby and he took the assignment on the condition that his contract employer, J. E. Widener, had no starter in the race. Widener, of course, is without a Derby horse this year, although his colors will be represented throughout the meeting. Wright has been among the top riders of the country for several years and his presence in the saddle assures the Texas star capable and experienced handling. It is likely that Wright will be coming west in advance of the Derby, the western division of his employers stable being due here from Elmendorf Farm within a few days. It is trained by D. E. Stewart
