NEW YORK SHOWS GAIN ALBANY, N. Y., April 27. Secretary of State Edward J. Flynn today announced that the state racing commission report disclosed receipts derived from horse race meetings for the year 1936 amounted to ,516,-715, which shows a gain of eighteen per cent over 1935, a total of ,957,615. The states share in the revenue from horse racing was 87,387. At the same time the states share was increased by the amount of ,500, through the licensing of the state racing associations.
