AT POST 5 minutes. Start bad and slow. Won easily; -second and third driving. INVOKE broke fast and, suited in the going, drew away into a safe lead and had speed in reserve. BARBARA S. was bumped after the break, recovered quickly, moved up fast on the outside and finished well. DEPEND moved into contention with a rush and raced forwardly from the start, but slipped and swerred at the eighth post. ROOM SERVICE was bumped at the start and then made up ground slowly. REIGNING LASS, away well and close up from the start, held on well. WATCHCASE was a forward factor, but was knocked out at the eighth post when DEPEND slipped and was taken up. INFINITE LADY was away in a tangle. LACE REIGH sprawled in the gcing. RAGS AND TAGS reared at the start and was as good as left. Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. GALON BOY followed the early pace under steady restraint, moved into command entering the stretch, but bore out and then finished fast. WISE KING forced a fast pace from the start, raced SOCIAL ERROR into defeat and held on well. SARACEN, on the inside from the start, was placed under pressure rounding the stretch turn and held on well. SPEED began slowly and closed with good courage. PREVENTION was in close quarters after the break, but then moved up fast. SOCIAL ERROR had no mishaps in the running. BONSOIR lost ground at the far turn. MUGGINS showed an even effort. BRIGHT CHANCE was shuffled back after the break. FAIR DEAL faltered under pressure. ELDEE had no mishaps. APERITIF began slowly and could not menace the leaders. Overweight Social Error, 2 pounds. Won driving; second and third easily. FITTER forced the pace from the start, responded to urging in the stretch and outlasted EPICAL in the final drive. EPICAL showed speed while saving ground rounding the turns, made a determined bid in the stretch and held on well. GLENBROOM raced forwardly in the early running and then faltered in the stretch run. SUNPORT broke well and worked his way up, on the inside, came wide entering the stretch and closed well. CHIEF CHEROKEE broke sluggishly, but moved up on the outside losing much ground and could not gain on the leaders. HIGH IMAGE showed a flash of speed in the early running and then quit badly. SCROOGE raced in near pursuit of the pace m the early stages, but faltered under urging at the end. GURKHA sprawled in the going and could not improve its position. ROUGH DIAMOND, outrun to the far turn, improved his position steadily and finished fast through the stretch. INDIAN HEAD, close to the early pace, was placed under pressure turning for home, but could not improve his position. SUNANAIR broke well and was under restraint early, then flattened out when called upon and was not persevered with when hopelessly beaten. Overweight Bound Table, 2 pounds. LETOILE propped at the break, but was outrun. HASTY WTRE was outrun all the way and could not improve its position. VAN NUYS was outrun and sprawled in the going.
