FADDLE, outrun for three-quarters, made up ground, steadily thereafter and, under good pressure, was up in the last sixteenth. WAR TRADE began to improve lier position after three-quarters, came out for the drive and jelosed strongly. GRECIAN TIME had good speed from the beginning, drew into a big lead on the second turn, but gave way badly in the last eighth. CYNICAL had good early speed, dropped back after three-eighths and then came on again in the last quarter. DELAYNOT gave way after showing speed fo the final eighth. QUICK QUICK, under pressure after five-eighths, could not improve her position. ELLIE lacked speed and could not improve her position. TUREEN was through after a half mile. WHOOPER, never far back and saving ground, was put to good pressure after three-eighths and closed well. MISS WEBB, well up and in hand for a half mile, held on fairly well thereafter under strong urging. PRUM had good speed from the becinninir, was put to strong pressure on the stretch turn and held on well to the last eighth, then tired. LADY BRIAR was forced to race wide throughout. ERB was through after a half mile. The latter made the pace under light restraint, rallied when put to pressure on the stretch turn and held on well, but could not withstand the winner. GARDEN MESSAGE began to improve his position after a quarter, then lost some ground entering the stretch and closed strongly. BELTON had good speed from the beginning, was in close quarters on the stretch turn and tired near the end. KINGS-HIGHWAY made up ground in the last quarter. ALERGY raced very wide. DIXIE PRINCESS lacked early speed and failed to rally. JIM CORNELL lugged in badly. FIRM HAND gave way badly after showing speed for a half mile.
