Root Pleased With String STICKNEY, 111., May 31.— Tommy Root reports that the Woolford Farm horses which he took over several weeks ago. are training splendidly at Washington Park. He has more than 30 head at the south side course and among them are a number of promising two-year-olds. They will not be ready for racing here at Hawthorne, but will swing into action with the start of the Arlington Park meeting at the Homewood track.
