Sell 65,000 in War Bonds ARCADIA. Calif., May 31.— For the first quarter of the Santa Anita meeting, taking in 10 days through last Saturday, War Bond sales for free admission to the races i have amounted to 65,000. If the average j continues the volunteer committees of the United States War Savings, handling the sales at the admission gates, expect the i total of the meeting to reach close to two million dollars. The direct state tax on pari-mutuel wagering of the first 10 days at Santa Anita Park was 93,369.20. according to figures given out by Al Fiske, chief inspector for the California Hors« Racing Board.
