Closing of San Vicente ARCADIA. Calif.. May 31.— Growing interest in the 0,000 Santa Anita Derby, toj be run on June 23, will be intensified this Saturday when nominations close for next weeks 5,000 San Vicente. It will be a handicap for three-year-olds, who will be asked to go a flat mile in preparation for the Derby, which is a furlong farther. The Bradley-bred Sir Bim and Busher hold top interest as probable nominees, but Quick Reward. Gold Bolt, Sea Sovereign, Bismarck Sea and other leading candidates will have a chance to show what they can do other than at sprint distances.
