Ten Will Face Tambo In Feature at Jamaica Skin Deep, Sirlette to Carry Angpet Colors in Sprint Test JAMAICA. L. I.. N. Y.. May 31.— Although no genuine feature is listed on the senr -final program of Jamaicas successful meeting, the seven overnight events scheduled promise to provide bristling entertainment. Perhaps chief interest will center in the fourth race, called the Kew Gardens Handicap, to which ,000 is added. It is for four-year-oids and upward in class "D." at six furlongs. Heading the field of 11 is Greentree Stables Tambo. who is required to cany 122 pounds. In his seasonal bow last week the aptly named son of Mr. Bones — Fair Feint, finished third to Flaught and Only One. While he will carry nine pounds additional today Tambo appears the early favorite. Eddie Arcaro is scheduled to ride him. Angpet Stable holds a double-barrel threat in the Kew Gardens with Skin Deep and Sirlette. both of whom benefited by a race over the track. Skin Deep finished a creditable second to Swimmin Hole early In the week, while Sirlette was unplaced in her lone 45 outing. J. B. Theall will be represented by Ra-venala. a shifty son of Coldstream — Cactus Rose, who compiled a fine record in 44. In this sprint he is to carry 120 against 119 for Skin Deep. Others in the field are Bubbling Image, an invader from California. Futurama, Faiseur, Noview, Pom-pagle and Blue Whistler. Next in importance on the card is the ,000 Glenmore. sixth race of the day, in, which a half dozen three-year-olds are to travel one mile and a sixteenth. All will carry 113 pounds. Mrs. Vera S. Bragg entered two in Motie Brand and Thor and these will be opposed by Our Candidate. Mountaineer. Challenging and Voloway.
