Delaware Steeplechase Offering to Bill Coffman STANTON, Del., June 20.— Three candidates for the 0,000 Georgetown Handicap to be run at Delaware Park on Wednesday, June 27, performed in the Rose Tree I Steeplechase Purse here today and Bill Coffman qualified nicely for the later stakes engagement. Racing in the colors of Mrs. Stephen C. Clark, Jr., the six-year-old gelding made his first start this season a .successful one as he made his own pace to score by three lengths in the role of .50 for choice. Carrying 151 pounds, which included Bmmett Roberts, Bill Coffman reached the | final line with a three-length advantage over Mrs. F. Ambrose Clarks Boojum II., i highweight of the field under 154 pounds. I The latter was 10 lengths better than Mrs. D. P. Barretts Abidale, while Brookmeade Stables Greek Flag was fourth in the small field. All except Boojum II. are candidates for the Georgetown later In the meeting.
