Acquires Hansmans Contract ELMONT, L. I., N. Y., June 20.— The contract held by trainer W. O. Hicks on apprentice Lawrence Hansman was sold to Jule Fink, Cincinnati music publisher, today, for a reported 5,000. Hansman won both ends of the Daily Double at Belmont Park today with Flight Deck and Honfleur and has impressed most observers as clearly the best saddle prospect seen in New York this season. The boy is 18 years old, a native of Indianapolis, who did his first riding on half-mile tracks in the Midwest. He went to Mexico City on his own last winter, where he was signed by Hicks.
