j Outrider Johnny Shanks Injured in Training Period DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 5. — Johnny Shanks, outrider, was slightly injured while on duty during the workout hours this morning. He caught a loose horse, was pulled from the saddle and received abrasions on his face and legs. He was treated by Dr. William H. Speer, one of Delaware Parks three track physicians. Delawares ambulance, which is on duty 24 hours a day, was called into service last night to take an ill groom to the hospital. The track also maintains in its own hospital 12-hour medical service.
