Bauer Promising Apprentice DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 5. — Apprentice Robert Bauer, a likely looking "bug" rider under contract to Danny Shea, should see increased activity next week. Among the more prominent ap prentice riders here for the opening days of the meeting, Nichols Combest departed for New York and Don Padgett loses the five pounds allowance next week. Bauers engagements are being handled by Charles "Chicklet" Lang, son of the former saddle star.
