UNCLE REMUS raced on the outside and with the pace throughout, then drew clear slightly through the final furlong. WEJACK was between horses while in the first flight and fought it out willingly. BULLET PROOF saved ground while holding a narrow advantage and weakened slightly in the drive. NED LUCK rallied mildly after being outrun tor three furlongs. BLIND PATH had brief early speed. MUSIC saved ground to the stretch, swung to the outside for the drive and held HUSH-HUSH safe after taking command. The latter raced withm striking distance of the pace, but rallied only mildly. RED STAMP lacked racing room on the turn and closed with good speed when able to move through on the inside during the stretch run. MISCH I EVIOUS showed good speed to midstretch an df altered. OCEANIA made up some ground. FLOWER CALL closed with belated speed. GRAND ACTRESS set the pace for a half and flattened out. WATERCLOCK weakened. TWENTY KNOTS trailed the field throughout. BOUNDING BOW, slow to settle into stride, raced wide while rallying and closed willingly. HYGROS GINGER, always a forward factor, was unable to seriously threaten. TIGER MAE showed an abundance of early speed, but weakened. TABOURET had no mishap. LITTLE STELLA caught a tired horse. SHIFTY MAE failed to threaten seriously at any stage. CHERRY POP was sent through on the inside to assume command leaving the half-mile pole, then drew clear as rider pleased and was in hand at the finish. PANACEA was sent to the front directly after the beginning, but was no match for the winner, yet held on gamely for the place. LUBRA rallied mildly, but was not good enough. MAE CASE finished well while between horses. NUALA was well up to the stretch, then drifted out slightly while tiring. GAGA had no mishap, but lacked speed. PROVERB, not hurried through the first six furlongs, made a bold move nearing the stretch, but was no match for the winner. RED SHOES raced HYPNOTIC into defeat while setting a swift pace, then faltered. HYPNOTIC was used up racing with RED SHOES early. DOROTHY BROWN raced evenly. SEA SNACK was through early.
