Auction Services of Seven Stallions at H6PA Dinner PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 3.— An added feature at the benefit dinner and ball being sponsored by the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association, Maryland, Delaware and West Virginia division, to be held at the Lord Baltimore Hotel, Baltimore, next Wednesday night, will be auctioning the services to eight well-tried stallions, seven of them standing in Maryland and one in Virginia. Services to the following sires will be auctioned: Mrs. M. E. Whitneys Stepin-fetchit, S. M. Pistorios The Rhymer, Hirsch Jacobs Confiado, H. G. Bedwells Sun Egret, A. G. Vanderbilfs New World, E. K. Brysons Director J. E., Abbe Pierre and Janon Fisher, Jr.s Swashbuckler. The Rhymer is sire of the two-year-old King Rhymer, who set a worlds record for three furlongs at Santa Anita in February. Bryan Field, general manager and vice-president of Delaware Park, has been added to the list of members of the honorary committee for the ball.
