VENTURE ON raced within striking distance under restraint, went up with a rush on the cutside when ready and won under-mild pressure. DA DO, far back early, as usual, lost some ground improving position, but was not good enough. NITRO FIRE saved ground all the way and faltered in the closing furlong. GOLDEN THORN was off poorly and failed to threaten. PUT AND CALL took up when in close quarters «n the rail rounding the final turn. GLIDER PILOT was through after a half mile.
