Your Host Belmont Arrival; To Start in Withers Stakes BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L.-L, N. Y., May 9.— William Goetz* Your Host arrived at Belmont Park this morning, accompanied by. trainer Harry Daniels, who said that the disappointing Derby favorite would go postward in Saturdays Withers Mile. Your Host, who appeared to have shipped in fine style, Is expected again to be the favorite in the week-end fixture, as he remains, until it is otherwise demonstrated, the fastest three-year-old in the country up to the Withers distance. His owner remarked today that his only excuse in the Derby was the distance. King Ranchs Kentucky Derby winner, Middleground and his stablemate, On the Mark, were walked past the stands at 12:18 p. m. today, unnoticed by the majority of the early comers. The two chestnut colts, who look somewhat alike, except that On the Mark is considerably the larger of the two and looked a bit fresher, perhaps because he did less running in Kentucky, were the target fof several photographers as" they were led to their barn on "millionaires row," and were ac-. companled by two grooms and a well-mannered black dog. Hill Prince and Trumpet Kin? are due from Kentucky tomorrow morning; when trainer "Casey" Hayes will make a decision as to the Princequillo colts status in Saturdays Withers. Eddie Arcaro passed up a chance to ride Ferd in the Withers rather than risk missing the mount on Hill Prince In the event he is a starter in the mile race. Clifford Mooers Hawley was sent to Keene-land from Louisville and may return to California. Mr. Trouble, Mount Marcy and the others of the C. V. Whitney string are due at Belmont Park on Thursday.
