PHARLO swung wide on the first turn, worked his way up gradually and wore down CAKE WALK. The latter forced the pace on the outside, came in when clear in command and just missed. DONNA 1_ made up ground steadily from a slow beginning and finished gamely. MUSICAL KID tired the final three-sixteenths. SWIFT TOWN was bothered slightly on the first turn and tired. UNCLE ROB ran wide on the first turn, took command when righted and, tiring near the end, just lasted. DUOLC, probably best, was blocked and hemmed in rounding the second turn, was bothered attempting to go between horses in the backstretch the second time, then was forced to lose much ground moving up. BIRD SHOT was prominent from the start and showed a good effort. SIR WASH caught tired horses. POODOO went very wide on the first turn and lost ground thereafter. BERNZIE was outrun. DIESEL SAND ran out on the first turn. RICHWALL came out of the race very lame in the right hind leg. CHERRY RIPPLE had brief speed and quit. CRISS CROSS ran wide on the first turn. JATAK had a rough trip and should improve off the effort. ATREBLA was pinched back going into the first turn and tired before five furlongs. MISTY EIGHT lacked room on the inside and had to be steadied most of the early running, then lost ground when closing with a rush. WAR RULER had a rough trip. VESUVIO was blocked and hemmed in rounding the second turn, went up on the outside to threaten when clear and tired. ROUNDELEER lost ground. FALSE MOVE went to the extreme outside on the first tum.
