BOBS ACE, in hand while kept within striking distance of the pace, moved up with a rush when roused, came between horses to assume command and drew out and was in hand near the end. MON TORCH, allowed to drop far off the pace, rallied when roused and was going stoutly at the end. REYNOLDS JR. was taken back and steadied to the final quarter mile, then failed to respond to steady urging. FLYING MILE had no mishap. TASSO T. was rushed boldly after a half mile, neared the pace, then faltered. FOSTERS PRIDE was used up forcing the pace. RAY K7 established the paced for a mile then stopped.
