Illinois Notes WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, 111., June 6. The two-year-old. filly, Ever Bright, owned by the combined interests of„Pollard and Harkins, arrived from Detroit. Grover Noel will saddle the talented miss for her engagement in the forthcoming Miss America Stakes. Ralph Bonn stated that he had taken over the training of the extensive Emerald Hill stable. Bonn, who replaces R. B. Be-rini, hasenjoyeg, considerable cqess sinp£ entering the trainers ranks several years ago. Arthur E. Harper announced that he had engaged trainer Jess Byrd to condition his four racers for future engagements. Byrd replaced E. E. Wilson. -Included in the Harper-owned contingent are El Pair Me, Copper Islam, Battle H., and Winter Pair.
