Harness Racing at Brockton BROCKTON, Mass., May 20.— Brockton Fair, which held thoroughbred racing for the last 10 yearsi will change over to the trotters this year for their September 8 to 13 session. The directors of the Brockton Agricultural Society yesterday voted to replace the runners with harness horses. The standardbreds were the vogue at Brockton from their opening until 1937, when automobile racing took over, to be supplanted by thoroughbreds 10 years ago.
