Solons Rule Pimlico Cannot Be Sold to Transfer Dates BALTIMORE, Md., May 20.— The Maryland Racing Commission today decided to notify officials of the Maryland Jockey Club, owners of Pimlico, that they cannot sell the race track in order to transfer the racing dates to Laurel or Bowie. Chairman Frank Small, Jr. announced that he will advise Pimlicos board of directors that they must show plans to rebuild Pimlico or face loss of their racing dates. The decision was made following a four-hour meeting with a committee of nine, which was appointed last month as a result of a General Assembly resolution calling for a study of racing in Maryland. The committee was appointed by Senator George W. Delia Dem sponsor of a resolution calling for such a. study. The committee is headed by Senator Ferdinand Sy-bert Dem and includes stable owners, business men, representatives of the public and a stockholder of Pimlico. 1 of t kV u a cr t • t in tn-i i ir. a
