Gillem String at Detroit DETROIT, Mich., May 20.— Roy C. Gillem, young Kentucky turfman, arrived Tiere from Churchill Downs and he will race a quick string at the local course this year. Gillem not only brought in Resort and Up- . right for Thomas Piatt, master of Lexingtons Brookdale Farm and the breeder of Alsab, but Nicholas De Las Casas South Letter, Kitchen and Reams Butchs Pride, E. Kitchens Six Thirty, G. Camillos Gin Girl, J. C. Gillems Jay Cee and Montcalm. Another section of the Gillem establishment is en route from Keeneland, where they were rested in preparation for their Wolverine State campaigns.
