Kyle Rote Inks Two-Year Pact With Football Giants DALLAS, Texas, May 24 UP. Kyle Rote was a full-fledged member of the New York Giants football league team today. He signed a two-year contract with the Giants yesterday, shortly after visiting the surgeon who six weeks ago repaired his injured left knee. The former Southern Methodist University grid star announced the agreement after Dr. M. H. Beckering gave an "encouraging" report on Rotes leg. The operation removed a cartilage. Rote, who had a one-year pact with the Giants last year, injured his knee in an exhibition game andTeinjured it during the regular season.
