Lights Up Reported Sound By Trainer Hack Ross HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewod, Calif., May 24. C. H. Jones and Sons Lights Up, who took several lame steps following his face here on Thursday, was sound yesterday morning, his trainer, Hack Ross, was pleased to report. A number of observers noted that Light Up, was a little dinky after his performance in the Westchester Handicap. Ross said the horse was just plain tired. Dr. L. J. Cook, track veterinarian, examined Lights Up yesterday morning and found him to have no heat in any of his legs. Lights Up, the sensation of the Golden Gate Fields meeting, is a prospect for next Fridays Argonaut Handicap.
