ANDYS GLORY went up on the outside to be with the leaders, took command leaving the turn, began to drift out midway of the stretch and finished near the outside rail. HENRY D. M. was a sharp contender on the rail throughout and held on gamely for the place. ECUADOR made the pace early, continued well when headed and had no excuse. LOTOFTOWN, with the leaders from the beginning, also drifted to the extreme outside in the drive. ROPE TRICK was well placed and lacked a closing rally. DISCONSOLATE failed to show his usual speed. REAL BROTHER was in close pursuit of the leaders on the inside, reached command inside the furlong post and outgamed BROOKHAVEN. The latter alternated with KHAN for command from shortly after the start, but could not resist the winner in the drive. The latter dueled for the lead from the start and faltered slightly in the final sixteenth mile. PRISM tired. TURF BULL swerved badly at the start and failed to threaten thereafter. MILSPAL showed little. Overweight— Prism, 1 pound; Milspal, 1. - Khan claimed by Hampton Stable. HOT went into a commanding lead soon after the start, relinquished command and dropped into third position between calls on the final turn, came again nearing the final jump and won fully extended. FLAMING COMET, allowed to drop back early, moved up stoutly when called upon, but bore out and swerved through the final run. GERRYMANDER went up on the outside to be with the leaders and faltered slightly after the final obstacle. AMERICAN WAY closed impressively after a slow start. PROCEED gained a clear lead between calls on the final turn, made a bad landing at the eleventh jump and failed to rally. SULTANS WAR lost his rider at the fifth obstacle. COURSE NORTH broke alertly and rapidly drew away, was steadied along while comfortably in front and won in hand. HIS DUCHESS, closest to the pace throughout, could not menace the winner, but raced clearly best of the others. INCARNATION swerved and drifted out and should improve off the effort. The latter set a swift early pace while under steadying restraint, held on gamely when challenged, but was no match for the winner in a good effort. WAR KING raced forwardly under rating and tired in the drive. UNCLE MILTIE, reserved in the opening half mile, failed to respond when called upon. NULLIFY was outrun.
