Battle King Changes Hands DETROIT, Mich., June 3.— Michell Sha-heen, acting for John Fredericks* Hi-John Stable, today purchased the two-year-old colt, Battle King, from E. Thurston Col-glazier, representing E. R. Mills in the transaction, terms of which were private. Shaheen will condition the youngster for the Chicago-owned Hi-John establishment. The units Contrive, a four-year-old colt, has been taken out of training and sent to Douglas Park, Louisville, Ky., where Joe D. Puckett will handle him.
