Royce G Martin Goyanos Owner Dies in Lexington LexingtonLEXINGTON LEXINGTON Ky May 1 Royce G Martin owner of Goyamo who ran fourth in todays Kentucky Derby died at St Josephs Hospital here this after ¬ noon following a heart attack suffered Thursday ThursdayMartins Martins career in racing and breed ing dates back to his early activities in Mexico He entered the breeding busi ¬ ness when he purchased the 300acre farm of John T Ireland in Bourbon County Kentucky named Woodvale Farm In 1948 he purchased the pres ¬ ent site of Woodvale Farm a few miles from Lexington LexingtonMartin Martin was president of the Auto Lite Company in his home town of Toledo Ohio Other interests include directorships in Hialeah Park and the Breeders Sales Company of Lexington where yearling sales are held semi annually
