Close Preakness Entries Two Days Before Running RunningBALTIMORE BALTIMORE Md May 1 As has been the custom in recent seasons entries for the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico on May 22 will close two days before the race instead of the previous day Thus entries will close Thursday May 20 at 10 a m giving the public the lineup for the race some 48 hours before the running Entrants pay 500 to pass the entry box and another 500 to start startOwners Owners of prominent three year olds have until Monday May 10 to make sup ¬ plementary entries for the 100000 Preak ¬ ness Stakes to be run May 22 at Pimlico The supplementary fee is 7500 for those not originally nominated to the Maryland Jockey Club feature
