Report of Contributions For Detroit Fire Fund Total of 1,433 Received, With 0,000 More From Days Racing DETROIT, Mich., June 16. Dr. Harry W. Lindy, president of the Michigan Division of the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association has released the following report listing the contributions to the fund set up to help those who sustained losses in the recent fire at Detroit Race Course. John Hettche, Detroit auto dealer, furnished complete outfits of clothing to 14 individuals who lost all of their clothes in the fire. DISBURSEMENTS The money received was disbursed as follows: Personal clothing and belongings ,739.73 Tack and equipment 5,225.00 Total ,9S4.73 This left a balance of 2,488.27 which was distributed on-a pro-rata basis to owners of 31 horses destroyed in the fire who were not covered by insurance. ou J II
