Honor Wagner With Statue PITTSBURGH, Pa., April 30. — UP — Hero— worshipping fans gave famed old shortstop John P. "Honus" Wagner another hour of glory today by dedicating a bronze statue of baseballs "Flying Dutchman" just behind the left-field wall of Forbes Field. The 81-year-old Pittsburgh Pirates star, whose once-sturdy legs carried him into Baseballs Hall of Fame, sat bareheaded in an open automobile as baseball greats of past and present retold the Dutchmans exploits on the diamond.
