SHINY KNIGHT, held in reserve to the second turn, rallied from the extreme outside and, under strong handling, wore down BOFRANC a furlong out. The latter, slow to settle in stride, moved up with a rush on the outside to wrest command on the second turn, but was not quite good enough. BUZZ A BIT was used up in vying for the early lead. RUGGED ODDS had no apparent excuse in an even effort TUNESMITH appeared unable to handle the going. W0HNEDA was always far back. ANSWER MAN was through early. .
