STONE OF SCONE was well rated on the lead, was roused sharply into the stretch and under a strong ride withstood the rivals. MAXS REWARD, within striking distance from the start, lacked the necessary rally when put to pressure and outfinished BLENFLY. The latter was forced to lose ground racing outside the field and made up some ground in tnefinal eighth. LITTLE STORY saved ground from the start but flattened out under pressure. OFF AT 6:03J EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good. Won driving; second and third the same. BEWITCHING, always close up, rushed to command into the stretch and under strong pressure held off SPEED TEST. The latter, under restraint for the first mile, was closing strongly in the stretch and was getting to the winner. HALT DENNY moved into the lead shortly before a mile, readily gave it up to the winner into the stretch and weakened slightly. SOME FUN was showing improved speed when too late. BETSY ANN reached the lead between calls after three-quarters, then faltered PETEE had to be taken up along the inside on the final bend. MR. RASCAL showed speed for a mile HIYA BABE turned in a dull effort. Scratched— 138864 Indian Lad, 113; 13437 Fogle Lee. 108.
