Won driving; second and third the same. MARKIT PAID, a sharp factor from the start, took command after entering the stretch and, drifting out through the final furlong, lasted to withstand EASY-ME. The latter, never far back, closed gamely under brisk urging but could not overtake the winner. MR. GUNNER saved ground during the stretch run and finished fast. OBOE raced evenly without mishap. ERNIE HARWELL lacked early foot and was never dangerous. CELTIC BOY had early speed but faied to stay. KENNA REWARD raced prominently to the stretch but had nothing left for the drive. SING AGAIN was never a serious contender. CABLE TONE, rank during the post parade, showed nothing in the running. HILLSDALE took an early lead, settled in the stretch with a clear margin but was briskly ridden during the drive to withstand GRAND FIESTA. The latter, forwardly placed from the start, finished willingly under strong handling but coula not overtake the top one. MOHANA raced prominently from the start and had no mishap. MARION COUNTY could not better his position when set down in the drive. QUINAP raced fairly well and had no excuse. GRAY TRUST lacked early foot SPICY TOUR wais never dangerous. STRAIGHT 0. F. tired after showing early speed BLUERUTH had brief speed. JOHNNY MISSION could not keep up. WILLIE WEAZEL was through early. BIG SCOTT steadily worked bis way forward, closed determinedly under punishment, but could not reach the winner JAVA GIRL raced evenly without mishap. VENETIAN MELODY gave a good performance and had no mishap RUBAN BLUE lacked early foot. NJAKE STRIDES began fast and raced with SOME KATE to the last eighth then weakened. TYUS took command at once, entered the stretch with a good lead but was hard ridden thereafter to withstand COMBAHEE. The latter, outrun early and racing wide through the stretch, was unable to reach the winner, although much the best of the others. BLACK TORCH lacked early foot but finished strongly. SHE-BLU raced neatest TYUS to the last eighth mile, then weakened. COOL CUSTOMER raced well until inside tlv stretch, then faltered. VALIANCE tired during the drive. ON THE JOB had no excuse. PAP DUNCAN could not keep up. GOOD FOR MIKE began poorly. DONNA S ACCENT was through eary. PIPIT took command from PINE NO MORE before entering the stretch and then drew out to win with speed in reserve. PINE NO MORE, away sluggishly, was hustled to the front before going a quarter mile, was unable to stay witn the winner but held on well to best the others. A foul claim against PIPIT by PINE NO MOREs rider was not allowed. CONTRACTION moved up determinedly approaching the stretch but could not overtake PINE NO MORE when set down in the drive. FAIR JOY lacked early foot and could not threaten the leaders when hard ridden through the stretch. ROSETTA raced well to the stretch but had nothing left for the drive. IDLES BABY began fast but dropped out of serious contention immediately after the start. IHOPESO was through early. RUNNING REIN lacked early foot. KENTUCKY PEACH tired. LITTLE CAROL had brief speed. PAT FLYAWAY saved ground while outrun to the stretch, was sent to the outside for the drive and, closing fast under brisk urging, disposed of the leaders in the last sixteenth. ROYAL MICHE. a sharp factor from the start, reached the lead during the stretch run but was unable to hold the top one. BOLANDA was unable to reach the leaders when set down through the stretch. SCOTIAN raced well until inside the final furlong, then bore in while tiring. AURECOLT was caught in tight quarters during the drive and failed to rally when finally clear. MISS CATESBY was never a serious contender LARNED BOY had no excuse. FIRST MON took an early lead, set the pace to the stretch while engaging SCOTIAN, then gave way. BR00KW00D. outrun to the last quarter mile, saved ground during the stretch run and, after taking command, continued determinedly under urging. COMMARGO, well back to the stretch, finished strongly under punishment but was unable to reach the winner. LADY SWORDS, well placed from the* start, moved up on the outside of LYCKA entering the stretch, was forced extremely wide by the latter, then came again when straightened up but was not good enough for the top pair. LYCKA went to the front early, set the pace to the stretch, then bore out badly and forced LADY SWORDS wide retained a short advantage to the last eighth mile, then weakened.
