Mrs. Markey Undergoes Surgery LEXINGTON, Ky„ May 16.— Mrs. Gene Markey, owner of Calumet Farm, was reported in good condition at St. Joseph Hospital here today after undergoing surgery for the removal of a kidney Wednesday. News of Mrs. Markeys illness Jiad been withheld at her request until after the operation.
