1 WASHINGTON PARK NOTES $ s The many friends of Thomas Kirby Lynch who are participating in Washington Park racing were shocked Thursday to learn of the death in Baltimore of the dean of chart callers. Lynch probably had the widest acquaintance of any newspaperman connected with racing, and everyone held him in the highest esteem. There was no increase in admission for Thursday to grand stand and to club house, with the track absorbing all x taxes. Mr. and Mrs. L. Branham and Rogers Caldwell, prominent Tennessee devotees of the sport, were arrivals from Nashville. Branham owns the Foxland Hall Stud at Gallatin, Tenn., and the mare Lady La Marne.
