ROXANA S., away well, worked her way up fast in the opening quarter, responded well in the drive and won drawing away, coming back with her s?ddle out of position. PRECIOUS PEARL raced BUCK PRIVATE into submission after a quarter, drew away under urging, failed to withstand the winner, but outfinished HIGHDRY. The latter, a strong factor from the beginning, was shuffled back at the far turn, but made up ground when clear. GERALDINE M., outrun for three-eighths, held on well after improving her position. GOVERNOR BILL raced wide. HOUSE AFIRE raced greenly. SAKUNTALA tired after improving her position. Overweight Highdry, 2 pounds. SECOND RACE 3-4 MILE Out of Chute. The latter forced the pace under good urging, gave way to BROADSTEP, came again in the stretch and was wearing down the winner nearing the finish. STALL MAN began fastest of all, was shuffled back at the far turn, lost ground thereafter and cosed strongly in the drive. BROADSTEP, a strong factor from the beginning, tired in the last stages. CHIEFS PRIDE had a rough trip. KNIGHTS HOPE lost ground. FULL TILT had no mishaps. CAPITALIST was outrun. RENAISSANCE showed nothing. LADY FEDERAL was far back throughout. FOURTH RACE 1 MILE. CROSS RUFF, under good urging while forcing the pace, tired in the last stages. LADFIELD, also slightly interfered with when PARADISICAL came over at the start, recovered quickly, bore out entering the stretch and weakened thereafter. PARADISICAL began fast, swerved to the inside soon afterward and showed little thereafter. RIP VAN WINKLE was outrun. Scratched 10764 Sabula, 107. Overweight Paradisical, 3 pounds.
