Tho-latter, under-occasional pressure while forcing the pace, moved up determinedly entering the stretch, but faltered in the closing stages. -POI.LY RITA, outrun for three-eighths, gained steadily thereafter, but was no threat. LADY LAURA raced well to the final eighth, then tired. EXOTUDE finished resolutely. HOUR LADY was:outrun. LOUISE HOBSON raced well for three-eighths. HILDA MARTHA could not keep up. The latter began slowly, gained fast in the stretch, closed gamely, but was not good enough. GOLDEN PIGEON, on the inside after reaching the stretch, responded with good courage when subjected to strong pressure and closed resolutely. ALLENE B. went well under a hustlinsc ride. GRAND FINALE had no excuse under hard riding. SATINWOOD raced greenly. LADY CONFUCIUS bee;an well, but dropped far out of it early. RAPPEE could not keep up. SCORE, in close quarters approaching ttha stretch, was forced to take up sharply, responded well when straightened and was racing gamely at the end. PRINCESS A.
