t WASHINGTON PARK NOTES f o . Thousands of free seats have been added to Washington Parks capacity in both club house and grand stand by tearing out boxes, and a much-improved system of ramps and stairways has made access to both stands much easier. There is no chance of a jam in the wagering department, for the installation of the new 50,000 totalisator, the most modern in the world, has so speeded up the handling of bets as to double the capacity. Totalisator manager Mort Shaw had a full crew on duty for Memorial Day. There will be more than 150 sellers required to man the selling machines in club house and grand stand betting rings, and in the mezzanine totalisator units that have been installed, this season.
