KTBA Sees Television Showing Of the 78th Kentucky Derby CHURCHILL . DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 15. — The regular meeting of theKen-tucky Thoroughbred Breeders Association was held last night at the Brown Hotel with president Clifford Lussky wielding the gavel for the business session. Jerry McNerney, turf editor for the Louisville Courier-Jornal, acted as toast-master for the entertainment program, which was featured by an address and open forum conducted by Lincoln G. Plaut, Churchill Downs racing secretary-handi-capper. * After the speeches, TV station WHAS displayed the entire television showing of the seventy-eighth running of the Kentucky Derby.
