Racing to BeJHeld Saturday Afternoons at Portland PORTLAND MEADOWS, Portland, Ore., May 15. — Portland Meadows race track experimented with afternoon racing last Saturday andthe response was so encouraging that general manager William P. Kyne announced immediately after the program that racing would be conducted during the afternoons on each Saturday for the remainder of the season. Thet normal nighttime schedule will prevail on week days, with a 7:30 p. m. first post Mondays through. Fridays. First post on Saturadys will be 1:30 p. m.
